Shona McKay is an architect artist based in Cambridgeshire, UK. Her work is influenced by her professional career as an architect. Her work includes various media: oil, charcoal, pastel, watercolour, pen and wash. Having drawn by hand all her professional life she has a love of the traditional measured drawing. Many of her works have a three dimensional element, which reflect her architectural background.

Shona trained at the Hull School of Architecture and the Architectural Association in London. She worked in private practice for 37 years, specialising in historic buildings and in particular Anglican parish churches.

Shona now spends her time drawing, painting and making.
